I usually end up using about 140-145 amps for a 1/8 7018. If not, the slag doesn't get pushed out of the way well enough and slag inclusions result at the edges of the bead. But if it works for you, that's all that matters.

Did you control amperage at all or is it straight to the battery? Looks a little cold at the start, but overall really good for working with a car battery. I would guess there was no amp control or the weld would have been even better. Good for on the trails or in a pinch!
