I used to have a Polish girlfriend in 1982 and the first question she asked me was 'Did you watch the game?' Nine years after and she was still so proud! People here in England who complain that we should have won forget the 2-0 victory to Poland in the first game.

We lost a lot of industry when the US overtook our production methods decades ago but we did eventually manage to renovate a lot of old run down cities and towns...

I know what you mean!The BBC showed this documentary in the early 90s, I must have watched the video of it over 50 times. Terrible story briliantly told.

The following week from this game, there was a televised match on ITV involving Forest where the slow motion showed that a Shilton save had in fact crossed the line. And all these modern football commentators think they invented goal line technology.

Next time, when they walk out the adults should sit on the benches and the kids take their place on the pitch. What a bunch of over rated over paid tossers.

I remember this documentary on BBC2 - a brilliant 6 parter. (I'm a Lincon fan and we're not used to promotion so we have to wathc other teams do it on telly). It would take a couple of weeks to carry out a structural survey of these properties to decide whether or not they were sound enough for people to move back in again. Why knock them down? The council must be idiots to knock tyhem down - think of the money saved and ectra council tax revenue.

I love Frejus - I always try to take my holidays there, usually renting an apartment in the town (Frejus Ville) aroudn where this ceremony is taking place. The place is beautiful and the people are very friendly.
