Read your latest comment. Was referring how the "Neanderthal" of Europe had way too many unique features which no living populations seem to share with them. So how can Europeans or Asians really be more closely related to them? My guess is that the genome tests were still tainted by both the Aisan and European researchers who tested the fossils.
For some reason I keep getting error messages when I try to leave comments on youtube. Got your reply though so hope this helps.
@mroldnewbie , there are the "pre"- Neanderthals and "Classics"
It's the latter that epitomizes our basic image of the brutish hairy caveman with such elongated profiles that no living peoples today remotely resemble with a mid facial region of the face is moved so far forward that the nasal area almost resembles a "snout". The cheeks of the classic Neanderthal are different also since it lacks a canine fossa which is evident in all living peoples and Homo Erectus as well as the "pre" Neanderthals such as Homo Heidelbergenis. Also the mtDNA data of Neanderthal show no relation to us.
I wouldn't be surprised to learn that this so called "Neanderthal kinship" fad with Europeans and Asians will one day prove to be an error the same way "Brontosaurus" was displayed with the wrong skull for decades.
