The clean vocals aren't very good, and the snare sounds like crap, but despite that, the song is very enjoyable.

@MetalStormUnit The notes are right, and the only problem with the tone is a bit to much distortion, which can be attributed partly to poor recording quality (compared to Death that is). You're just being a nazi.

I don't get it. How come a band like Arsis, that is not as well known as many metal bands, has amazing musicians in it, but all the bands that have millions of people flocking to fill an empty position have average musicians in it. Arsis is a great relief from all the crap stuff around the place.

If I had a guess at why he is playing in drop c, I'd think it's because he tried playing in drop b and realised that it's flat (because machine head play about 40 cents sharp) so tried playing it in drop c.
