Grew up in the Peoria area watching Dan in the Coachmen (late sixties). Then I never missed a chance to go see him as his star rose. Always have a Dan CD in the changer in my car.

Whether its Evie Sands, Hollies, or Linda Ronstadt, they all had great takes on this song. I still don't understand how someone can say one is better than the other. Every listener has they're own preferences and thus might prefer one over the other. But they're all still great.

Lots of bands give good performances, but Zac and his crew look like they're having so much fun while they perform. It just adds something to it.

I first saw Suzy in Peoria at some "brown bag it" lunch concerts many many years ago. She was great then and still is. She was from Aledo Il, I think, not from from Galesburg. Her voice rivals Judy Collins, and Alison Krauss too.

Jimmy Rodgers did a good job on this one too. I think it might have been the B side to Honeycomb, but I'm not sure.
