Steven was born in the Netherlands but was raised on a small island called St.Maarten. There he studied until he was 18. Having a mother that speaks Dutch and a father that speaks English made it easier for him to learn both languages. This would come in good use for when he moved to Holland to continue his studies. The first three years he studied architecture, while every year trying to get into a music school (conservatory). He looked for a study that fit him perfectly. While getting closer every year to what he wanted he would fail to get accepted by any music school. After those three years of searching he finally found the perfect study, a producers study and decided to focus everything on it. By taking a year off of school he now had the chance to put all his energy into the coming audition for that school. Straight away he got accepted by the Albeda College and is now studying to become a professional music producer. He finished his first school project with his demo in March which has flavors of reggae, spoken word and film music in it. He managed to incorporate a little bit of a jungle feeling in his film music as well. After experimenting with different music genres with dub step and lounge as his favorites he decided to stick with just that and created a whole new genre lounge step. This lounge can especially be heard in the Newton's Space Collection.

As a young child Steven would hear his father drumming with his fingers on the table every now and then. Wanting to do the same thing, he began to practice. After learning to drum with his fingers he started to drum on almost anything he could find. His parents obviously noticed this and eventually he got his own drum set. Steven then followed drumming classes for about a year until his teacher left to go on tour. After that he played in a band for a short amount of time and played together with a friend. Soon after he lost interest and stopped playing altogether. Meanwhile his brother experimented with music software but did not take it very seriously. Steven on the other hand did and fell in love with making music on the computer. Now he is focusing on learning how to play piano on an advanced level as well as drums in order to increase the quality of his music. Besides that he found an electric hand drum and immediately fell in love with that as well, this way of drumming would come a lot more naturally considering the fact he has been fanatically drumming with his hands from a young age.

When Steven makes music he finds inspiration from everywhere, it could be when listening to his mp3 player or even when he walks down the street and hears his footsteps form a rhythm.
