That was just brilliant, & it gives me an idea as to what it must have been like on the former 4 track sections that once existed on the old L&Y between Preston & Kirkham,& Hindley & Pendleton.

John,do you remember the derailment that took place that demolished signal 73?.
I think that it was done by a passing "figgelers"LOL
I vaguely remember signal 73 being repaired by being scaffolded on to the top of the parap...
