Kenton Rogers, has been referred to as one of the world's best kept secrets, but, he is more so like a fine bottle of wine that has endured it's time of fermentation, whose time has now come to be uncorked. He is certainly not a newcomer to the industry and entertainment business and carries with him an impressive resume. However, while he had been soaring and maintaining at low altitudes, out of the range of the industry radar and spotlight, it's a new season. Kenton has redefined himself and his music, by reaching beyond the boundaries of gospel, and embracing his musical passions, arriving at a sound that is uniquely his own. If you thought you were acquainted with him, think again. This is a new and more matured Kenton, who's more certain than ever with regard to his convictions and purpose, in life, and that fact resonates through his music.

Presently, he is gearing up and preparing for the kick-off of The Best Of Kenton Rogers Singing The Gospel "Blackberry Days Tour"; and the January/February 2011 release of his new single titled "I Need You", produced and written by, his godson Anthony Ponder, from his forthcoming project titled "Passionately Yours". "Passionately Yours" features Kenton covering, with his unique signature style, songs such as Revelation by Third Day, East To West by Casting Crowns, You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban, Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) by Chris Tomlin, Lord Have Mercy by Michael W. Smith, and the classics My Soul Has been Anchored In The Lord by Douglas Miller and Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel, just to name a few. This historic project is destined to be a keepsake, as some of Kenton's family members, personal friends and supporters have covenanted with him in support of this compilation In Loving Memory Of his mother, The Late Albertha Rogers, by contributing In Loving Memory Of their loved ones who have also made the transition from labor to rest.

In addition to the aforementioned, he has begun pre production and the foundational work for his Fall 2011 "LIVE" Recording in Atlanta already titled, "The Comeback...For Such A Time As This"; While with his lyrical creativity, and emancipated approach, he has collaboratively teamed up with "Mr. Mike" Crawford, a Huntington resident and music producer. The two of which are in the completion stages of Rogers' long awaited and anticipated premiere R&B/Soul/Reality Music project titled "Reality Check...only GOD can judge me". Though this project presently does not have a definitive release date scheduled, it features an updated version of the previously released thought provoking and brilliantly profound single, "Confession of a Preacha Man," which continues to stir up debate and stimulating heated conversations amongst the church, and unchurched. With an already established and growing support base, of family, friends and loyal fans, while the naysayers hold the belief that preaching the gospel and singing secular somehow just doesn't mix and shouldn't be mixed, there seems to be an even greater wind of support backing this free and unchained (independent) recording artist.
