Movies:
Films, my word, have so many for so many different reasons, here's a few: Midnight Run (very underrated DeNiro movie); As Good As It Gets (Jack Nick is my fav actor); Groundhog Day (Bill Murray is superb); Star Wars trilogy (c'mon, I'm of that generation, I even enjoy the, eh hem, later crappier films); The Pledge (although I do appreciate Mr Sheen in his own right); It's A Wonderful Life (although it depends on which day of the week you ask me); Leon; District 9; Solaris; The Road; The Muppet Treasure Island, by the way one of these is a lie. Guess which? Yes, it was The Pledge.:)
Music:
George Michael, Elton, Ga-Ga, Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Black Lace, Wombats, Lily Allen Amy MacDonald, once again one of these is a lie, hmmm, which one eh? I'm a pop fella by heart but can pretty much enjoy anything.
Books:
Anything by Carl Hiaasen. Anything that brings me back to the NOW - Eckhart Tolle is my fella of choice to do just that - superb work. I also like other serious stuff too like "Fly Fishing" by J R Hartley and Nigella Lawson's "How To Cook Even If You're A Complete Spong".
