Donald Pleasence was the perfect actor for this role. Nobody could have done it better. And I love how the dean and his secretary jump out of their skins when the ceiling collapses over his desk. Bet they had to go home to change their undies after that.

You see, this program was made before the microbe got loose; the microbe that destroyed peoples' brains and turned them into blithering idiots incapable of making great TV programs.

It turned into a plane because it ALWAYS WAS A PLANE. Remember, every morning- brain switch turned to on position?

They always got such fantistic actors for this program. And judging from the performances they seemed to love being on the program. Can't blame them.

This was and always will be a first-rate TV program. The acting, the plots, the directing, the writing- all of it- was consistently superb. There is nothing on TV these days that even remotely compares to it.
