Greetings to all the beautiful African-American and Afro-Latina women visiting my page. I would like to share some thoughts with you on the issue of SUBMITTING TO YOUR BLACK MAN:

Your power isn?t in you submitting to your man or LACK of submission to your man.

Your power lays within your MIND with it's ability to change and bring about the reality you desire.

Submission starts off as a thought in your mind first before it can be manifested into action by the body, but in order to make this happen, you have to know the proper way of going about doing it.

Many BW have come of age in environments where rebellion against BM was natural and commonplace. A lot of the women they grew up around whether it be mothers, aunts, sisters, female cousins, girlfriends, and sometimes even grandmothers all had bad track records when it came to relationships with BM.

These women were bad teachers, passing on the same type of destructive attitudes and behaviors to young black women coming up that would eventually cause them serious problems with BM, too.

So naturally the curriculum in dealing with BM in relationships didn't include submitting to a man. Instead, these women filled their minds with poisonous thoughts and beliefs toward submission and made it out to be something it wasn't.

Anything you tell yourself consistently over time, your mind will believe to be true, even if it is based on a falsehood, and eventually your mind will work to create that reality.

Therefore, if you are constantly telling your mind what you won't do and what you don't like doing when it comes to your man, then your mind is going to except this as truth. Your actions toward BM will then reflect what your mind sees as true.

BW who go through life with these types of thoughts running through their minds a lot of the times may not see themselves as the problem because this flawed and negative MINDset has them believing it's the men who are the problem; therefore, many feel justified in their thinking?

They ask themselves, "Why would I submit or cater to a man who represents a problem in my life?" It matters not whether this is actually true in reality, only that it is true in a woman's mind.

See you can lead a heart to love but you can't make it fall,

Just like a man can tell a woman all the things she needs to do to succeed with him but he can't make her do it.

In the beginning, it's always more important WHAT YOU THINK, not what you do or say you will do.

Success with BM is not in the actual ACT OF SUBMITTING, because if your mind isn't into it, you're literally programming yourself to fail eventually anyway. It's just a matter of time before the bottom falls out.

The power is in THINKING about submission in the proper positive way and believing that in doing it, it will benefit you and your man today, and will continue to benefit you both tomorrow and every other day going forward.

See, your mind is the REAL FOUNDATION from which the whole structure of you rises up from. That's why I say the most important relationship you have is with yourself. If that foundation is faulty, you are a walking implosion waiting to happen.
