Lever action is better than auto if you know your gun & safer toinnocent bystanders. Another advantage is that it is thought of as a normal sporting weapon. Cops aren't so likely to think MACHINE GUN & open fire on your ass by mistake.

The 45 lc has a lot more stopping power than a 9mm-about twice as a matter of fact. I'm not sure how it stacks up to a 40S&W. people talk about Glocks etc and they do have a higher magazine capacity and rate of fire than a revolver but if you need more than 6 aimed rounds to take down an intruder...

The second and third exhaust ports in each side are siamesed. The valve layout on each side is E-I-I-E-E-I-I-E so if you think about it it's impossible to put 2 ports between the second cylinders due to the valves and ports being in the block. If you look at a Lincoln flathead V-12, you'll see it...

No,no,no----it's a ROTARY engine--The crankshaft is bolted to the engine mounts and the Prop is bolted to the engine crankcase. The ENGINE rotates around the STATIONARY CRANKSHAFT taking the prop along with it. This engine pre-dated the RADIAL although the principle & firing order are similar.

@maxandlevi Funny you should mention that--we had Case RC that Dad drove from the binder seat like that. As you may know, the Case had a hand clutch so he had to push the clutch in to start the tractor moving then go around and get on the binder seat, but he could stop it by pulling a rope tied...

There was a guy in western South Dakota about 40 years ago who was putting IH V8 diesel truck engines in Case LA's. They made very good prairie tractors & they ran a LOT cheaper than the original 403 cu in Case 4-cyl.

Great vid--all these old tractors really take me back to my childhood in SD. Speciaal that SC Case--I spent a LOT of hours on one of them and its big bro DC. great tractors--wish I had one of them today or my Dad's souped up old RC-that was a beast!!

Nice car--only ONE thing wrong--f***in' SBC! Who the hell has brainwashed people into believing that only Chevy engines are suitable for hotrods? Ford made many GOOD engines that would bolt into that Vicky as easy as a Cheeby and produce at least as good performance if not better. SBC's are good...
