The island country of Haiti occupies the Western part of the island, while the Dominican Republic occupies the Eastern side of the island.
The Republic of Haiti consists of Two official Languages : French and Creole
The Dominican Republic consists of one official Language: Spanish
Haiti has 3 Main ethnic groups: French, Black , and Indian. The country's people use a popular term to identify Haitians of mixed heritage such as Marabou. Haiti has a culture known as Creole ( Mixture of European, African, and Taino Indian aspects )
The Dominican Republic is a Mixed Nation consisting of Triracials/ Biracials, Mulattos, Whites, afro- dominicans, and other small noticeable ethnic groups such as Asian.
The Main Religions of the Republic of Haiti : Catholic / Christianity (Protestant Christians )
Main Religions of the Dominican Republic : Catholicism and Protestant Christianity.
