There will be some play in the shaft, every auger I have used does. Strikemaster, Jiffy, I will wobble a little in the hole also. Is it cutting good?

I never liked how the power heads on the jiffys shake so much, and never like the fact they wont tell you how much they weigh. They are great augers but they are the heaviest out there.

how do you get rid of the clicking all together? can you? I want to get it so it doesnt click at all.

Rick have you ever tried the bkl rings? I used them on my lp8 and they have not moved yet. Also they are machined from one solid piece of aluminum and are self centering, definatly worth a try. Pyramid air has them and they are top notch, you will not need a scope stop.

The pellet pen works great on the breakbarrels. Quick and seats the pellets perfect everytime.

In fact the beemans are 10.95 for 300 and the HN's are 10.99 for 500. Same pellet same weight, whats the deal with that?

Its a ceramic hone. I have the 6 inch one for three years now. Cleaned hundreds of fish and still sharp. Good knife.

the leupold efr is far superior. If you have the 399 and can afford it you will not be dissapointed. The glass is top notch, crosshairs precise and the turrent adjustments are on the money. hawkes are alright for the money but there is no comparison. Its like comparing a corvette to a festiva.

i think that auger needs new blades. my strikelite goes through 18" like butter never have to pull up and slam it down. or put added weight on it.

awesome catch, gilling a fish is actuall cutting the gills out of the fish, landing it with your hand on the gill plate is not going to necessary kill the fish. looked pretty healthy when he swam away.

nice pike. i might have to try some of the circle hooks with the floro. i have went 4 times so far this year and no pike yet. twice in front of macks and twice on the north end. hammered them last year. good luck.

I have a 48 in .22 cal I upgraded from the leapers 3-9x32 to a leupold 6.5-20x40 efr. The gun is accurate and has plenty of power.

great review. The big cat is an alright entry level air rifle, the scope is a piece of garbage. I upgraded to a leapers 3-9x40 illuminated reticle and like it alot better.

leapers scopes are junk! have went through 5 golden image 3-9x32. got sick and tired and bought a leupold vx3 6.5-20 efr now thats a great scope. check it out.
