mrDNYL was Inspired by the Jacksons album "Destiny" & later on *Michael Jackson at a very early age. The pop music of the 80es in general was a big influence to him. mrDNYL Learned to play the drums at the age of 11 listening to different JazzFunk/Rock bands like: Koinonia-Marcus Miller-David Sanborn-Lee Ritenour-Joe Satriani-Steve Vai etc. Instrumental music made him really listen to tunes/rythm & beats. Late 80es & early 90es mrDNYL was captured by the sounds of the NewJackSwing.mrDNYL went singing/dancing & writing lyrics in a group called "2theStreat". After the group split up mrDNYL continued making music,learned to play the guitar & started writing lyrics for an artist by the name of "Diego"{winner of the "Golden Key-Awards"1985 ~Conamus/Holland}.mrDNYL also started to produce music for him self,trying to find a sound that was his own. In 1995 r'nb music didn't inspire mrDNYL enough so he went listening a lot to europian Techno & House music.These electronic music styles, learned him to stop setting boundaries.Still Playing/writing music with "Diego" & giving musical accompaniment to gospel Choir "March53", made him really understand how to compose music with an instrument.mrDNYL was still busy with Hip Hop/R'nb and tried to master Making music on computers & keyboards. After he became more a perfectionist, he made a decision to go follow the course *AVA~"Audio Visual Academy"~in Hilversum/Holland.mrDNYL did get his diploma and is titled "Studio Technician". With this knowledge he continued making music on a digital way.mrDNYL started to combine everything he had learned from all the different artists+several music styles & found his own soul in music.
