We don't really have unregulated capitalism in this country, so you can't blame our economic failures on a free market.

Also, the Enron thing and similar problems do not represent the evils of unchecked capitalism, they represent BAD business deals with the government and the evils of the government's entanglements with business interests. If there had been no big government, imagine for a minute, Enron would not have gotten the power to get away wit what it was doing for so long. Big gov. supports big business, and vise versa. You have to destroy one to deflate the other.
