The skirt tabs were not complete when the video was taken. The skirt is now flat against the hull. It will not be very efficient but there will be almost no skirt loose to cause drag. The next craft will have a central mounted motor which will be better.

Good point, the splitter is well out of the water when off cushion. Any water in the cushion will go out the rear drain. I may leave the rear of the cushion down to allow water to escape. I'll see how it goes, it is just an experiment at the moment.

My 14' Vanguard is 260kg's without fuel. The 15' surveyor weighed 320kg's without fuel. The engines in the Surveyor are 13hp single cylinder lift and 35hp V twin thrust. The weights are on the Briggs site. Cheers.
