About Me:
The stars that you discover, though they may have long been named after someone else, are yours, just as much as the first to behold them.
10% of the U.S. has 90% of the wealth. What's your share?
I belive that a rich inner life always stands one in good stead.
I'd like to take this opportunity to salute Liu Xiaobo, and congratulate him on winning the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize. Also, I'd like to offer my hope that he and his wife (who at the time of this writing is in house arrest, and was prevented from appearing at the Nobel ceremony, by the Chinese government) will be freed soon. Shame on China for imprisoning him.
Quote attributed to Andrew Fletcher: "Whoever tells the stories of a nation, need not care who makes it's laws."
Also, I support WikiLeaks. Julian Assange and Bradley Manning are heroes, screw all the haters and teabaggers. Teabaggers can all go to hell, in general, ANYWAY.
The sun sends the equivalent of all the energy used by everyone on the planet in one year, to earth, every ten minutes. Here, let me summarize: in ten minutes, you get one year's worth of energy for everyone.
I want to give whatever support I can to the words of Steve Miller, all those years ago, when he sang: "...Feed the babies who don't have enough to eat/ Shoe the children with no shoes on their feet/ House the people livin' in the street/ Oh, now THERE'S a solution!..."
Oh, and one thing: those who don't like swearing should BEWARE in my "virtual presence", as I REALLY like to swear. Sometimes A LOT. Both I.R.L. and online.
I refer to right wing nutjobs as TEABAGGERS, as that is how they DESERVE to be referred to.
Some people don't believe in sex before marriage. I don't believe in marriage before sex!
I'm not, repeat NOT, a vegatarian, but I believe that if one wants to cut their cholesterol levels dramatically, they should try cutting out, or at least cutting down, on the consumption of animal products. I try to limit my consumption when this comes to mind, but I still like the odd cheeseburger, every now and again.
And I am the 99%.
Something else: I am MILITANTLY IN FAVOR of the right to view, produce, distribute, and sell, anything that does not exploit children, including pornography.
Btw, rule 34.
Oh, and it takes 48 muscles to frown, but only 4 muscles to pull the trigger.
Hometown:
Santa Cruz, CA -but I live currently in Finger Lakes region N.Y.S.
Country:
United States
Interests:
Swimming, running, ending malaria, music, the underground railroad in the U.S., during the time of slavery, the abolitionist John Brown, the voyage of the then-slave, Robert Smalls aboard the ship,The Planter, the Haitian Revolution, Human Rights for Tibet (Free Tibet, NOW!!!) the Dalai Lama, Flying Fish, archer fish, humming birds, water striders, the monarch butterfly, and the Colditz glider.
Movies:
Love scifi. Specificly "space battle" type shows. I also like "agit-prop" type of movies. Fave documentaries are "Religulous", "Harlan County U.S.A.", and "F**k: a Documentary". The latter is a documentary about the word "fuck". Lately, I've been very interested in the documentaries "The Cove", "Capitalism: A Love Story", and "Dirt: the movie".
Music:
ANYTHING BUT COUNTRY -except songs like "Waiting for the Sun" by The Jayhawks, "Atlanta" by the Lost Trailers, "The Righteous Path" by the Drive-By Truckers, and "Sittin' At A Bar" by Rehab. One song that describes me partly, is the song "Smut" By Tom Lehrer. My all time fav song is "Levee" by Zep. Another huge fave: "Wave - u.k. surf" and "Where is my mind" by the Pixies. Also anything that has overtone/undertone singing. And anything that has instruments with unusual sound signatures, such as: "Purest Pale" by Cordis, Charlie Darwin By the Low Anthem, and "The Box" by Orbital. My current all time techno faves are: "Papua New Guinea" by FSOL, and William Orbit's "Water from A Vine Leaf". Lately my fave Metal song (I would describe Zep's "Levee" as hard rock. AWESOME hard rock, but still hard rock) is "A Tout Le Monde" (ft. Christina Scabbia) by Megadeth.
Books:
As I have not had any published, so far, I'll just put the books I recomend, here. Lucy Parsons "To Tramps", anything Kipling, "Mind Gym" by Gary Mack. I cannot reccomend this book highly enough. The Art of War by Sun Tzu. A Peoples History of the United States by Howard Zinn. Lies My Teacher Told Me by James W. Loewen. Patriotic Treason by Evan Carton. This is the only fully useful book on the abolitionist John Brown, that I have read. (I will add more as they come to mind)

So ARE you a vegetarian ? And with all the world's problems and suffering, did you really find it so satisfying that The Cove won an Oscar ? You believe in and support the Hollywood establishment/industry ? Did it really make your day ? Will it change your life ? I am curious about your values.I am not going to be rude.
