Travelling in or from Makati is fairly convenient due to the number of affordable taxis in the area, as well as access to the Metro Rail Transit system stationed right next to Glorietta, which can take you anywhere from Taft Avenue to North Avenue.
Alabang
Alabang is an outer suburb, of Manila in the Muntinlupa City district approximately 20 minutes away from Makati. Through the recently built express Skyway
Alabang Village has 30% of it's land allotted to parks, schools, playgrounds and churches, and is also between the scenic Manila Bay and Laguna Bay. It is one of the most sought-after subdivision in metro south manila because of its prime location and first-class facilities.
It includes the Ayala Commercial Center, and the Alabang Country Club located in the Ayala Alabang Village.
The Alabang Country club offers residents access to a golf club, a polo club and a sports club, and is also reputed to be the biggest and most complete sports complex in Southeast Asia.
The Alabang Town Center is one of the town's best weekend destinations, complete with several shops, supermarkets, cinemas, cafes, breezy walkways. It offers regular shows/activities and lots of parking space.
Ayala Alabang is a perfect place for families willing to enjoy an upscale suburbs lifestyle few minutes away from the main business district of Manila.
