About Mount Isa Rotary Rodeo

Welcome to the Xstrata Mount Isa Rotary Rodeo - the largest rodeo event in the Southern Hemisphere - located in the Outback Queensland city of Mount Isa.

More than 25,000 visitors are expected to head to the Isa for the Rodeo Festival, which attracts the nation's best talent competing for a prize pool of $200,000.

Kalkadoon Stadium, Buchanan Park will be the headquarters for three days of world class rodeo action including bull riding, saddle bronc and bareback, steer wrestling, roping, ladies barrel racing and breakaway roping.
