@kfwestbr Sure, I'll let ya know. It should be here within the next couple of days. I dunno how long it takes to get from Australia to NE Indiana. There are several videos here on YouTube where people have done the belt conversion and they absolutely love it.

This could really be a lot of fun. I have a trex 500e and a DX6i and i was wondering if you could help direct me on how I could set up a bomb dropper for my heli. Making one would be simple enough, but how would I set up the dropper on my Tx. Any help you could offer would be much appreciated....

i like how you said that you can do sloppy figure eights, lol. I am the same way. for the time being, if I can take my heli up in the air, fly it out 30-40 yards and then back again and set it down with drama....I consider that a success. I'll work on the defined figure eights later on, lol. ...

wow, that was really good. I haven't been able to get my SR do fly like that yet. I think it has its own attitude. I've had some beginner success with my trex 500 though. Haven't crashed it.....yet, lol.

How does the first can get melted? Is it just the internal heat being simply hot enough and the cans just start to melt?

the take-off was very impressive.....it just GRRRRRRR'd and it was off the ground in no time. that crash was very unfortunate. it was a very good lookin plane and I hope it's repairable.
