DREAM BABY DREAM
Dream Baby Dream was set up in 2009 in Paris by Adrien (vocals, guitar) and Boris
(guitar). First joined by Hugo (drums), and a few months later by Joseph (bass), the band,
which until then had restricted itself to acoustic rock, could at last give way to a powerful,
melodic and rhythmic pop (Dead as Disco, Rosalie), along with a folk ballads (Drowned Song,
End of Story), a hint of electro, and a evocations of the psychedelic era (Cannibal, Suicide
Club, TomTom's Got Temper). Their eclectic influences go from Johnny Cash to New Order,
through Radiohead and Patti Smith.
The recording (in a farm lost in the Vosges Mountains and converted into a studio)
of a first self-produced EP of seven tracks soberly entitled « Dream Baby Dream » (2011),
materialized the first era in the existence of the band, whose members are resolute to open
up new horizons, and to introduce its music to an ever enlarging audience.
