About SPACIFIC ENIGMA
Twenty-six years ago marked the origin of a small quirky TV show called Spacific Enigma - The Cult Without A Following. It ran on Rogers Cable 4, the local Community Television station in Vancouver, 30 episodes in all, up until 1991. A few hundred people volunteered on it, many of whom going on to enjoy successful careers in the film & television industry. The show won a few cable awards and was re-distributed throughout most major Canadian cities. Defining what was Spacific Enigma is nearly impossible, it included documentaries, drama, comedy, experimental, music video's and it varied in length from 30 minutes to 90. Most episodes were produced on a monthly basis - quick and dirty. Hope you enjoy some of the clips featured here, all of them were taken from the final three episodes.
