I am 44 , I didnt really like this song back in the 1980,s but now I think it is a all time classic . great sound , great lyrics and it says so much about regional Australia, possible more relevent today than when it was written and recorded. Well done boys

for "djdickhead" he changed the word from " olympic " to " Mccathertys" becuase he tends to localise the song to the area he is playing in. this was recorded in Brisbane so he used the name of the queensland bus company . If you listen to most verisons he will change the bus company name or taxi...
