Morris Brothers, the songwriting duo of twin brothers Robert and Steven Morris, once again seduce the listener into their enigmatic world of pop songwriting with the exciting new release ONE LESS DREAM. Produced by Paul Boutin and recorded at Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds studio in Los Angeles, ONE LESS DREAM blends artful groove and harmony with emotive melodies and cinematic lyrics that are at once probing yet unconventional. ONE LESS DREAM is a sonically superb recording with first-rate production and playing as well. Morris Brothers (who handle the vocal, guitar, bass and keyboard duties) elisted legendary drummer Ricky Lawson (Michael Jackson/Clapton/Steely Dan) who sizzles throughout the 11 distinct tracks. Lawson calls the brothers "a force to be reckoned with, some of the best composers I've worked with since Steely Dan." In addition to pop music, the brothers recently made their theatrical debut as composers/lyricists with the new musical Once Around The Sun. When reviewing the show for Time Warner's NY1, chief theater critic Roma Torre commented "each song is a gem propelling the story and deepening the characters...how thrilling to discover that the music in the show is so joyously liberating" and the Morris Brothers "have an album coming out...they are names to be remembered." And the album is sure to make a mark. Upon hearing ONE LESS DREAM, New York's elite Guitarist/Producer David Spinozza (James Taylor/Paul Simon/Billy Joel) called it "a lesson in smart pop songwriting"-the record illustrates Morris Brothers "soulfulness, craft and sophistication."
