Am an Old Skool Music Junkie......I suffer from a Compulsive Chronic Syndrome called FUNK! As a kid in the early 80s, i got an instant addiction after being blown away by the SOUL TRAIN show on Zambian TV!
I would stay up late till the early hours listening to the latest Soul/Funky Jams on Radio "BOP" from South Africa, the hottest station back then, with some of the most awesome Deejays ever! The passion as an ardent collector of great music simply grew from here! When i moved to London in 1990 my interest as a DJ grew and became a seasoned spin junkie, playing in various London Clubs and at private parties, often for free......as long as chilled booze flowed!!
Now am more into Collection of ultra rare Soul/Funk, Boogie, Rare Grooves, Hip Hop, New Jack Swing Classics and Contemporary Rn'B. Am a stern music Purist and Critic, rightly appalled by the current state of the music Industry besieged by talentless "duds" straight out of some Reality TV shit! For all the purists, i now take you back on a journey, a ride on the Funky Soul Train.......As we claim back the pure black music, just as it was and for eternity! Pls keep this Funk alive!!
