Do it on the pavement and that Ford 300 will walk all over that Chevy 350. Especially with that 4-speed's granny low, and t-case in low range. The Chev doesn't stand a chance, even if it is newer and heaver.

@YourFavoriteReviewer That is a good plan ;) Mine are unlocked until the minute I need 4x4, or unless I know I am going to need it soon (mudding, offroading, etc). I don't think it hurts to leave them locked, but why waste the extra fuel pushing the front around?
