Michael Moore, LMT is widely regarded as one of Boston's most talented massage therapists. The masseur of choice for the Boston Area, Michael studied at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) Boulder, Colorado, internationally renown as the leading College in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. Michael graduated top of his class with 1060 hours in manual therapy. Michael is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist (NCTMB).
Upon graduation, Michael had the honor of teaching Orthopedic Massage with National Certification in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCTMB) board member, Elaine Calenda. As he taught, he gained world class clinical experience at SOMA Physical Therapy, working with Myofascial Release Master Mark F. Barnes, MPT. In addition, he worked with The Taylor Sisters, owners / instructors at The Pilates Center known as "The Harvard of Pilates Schools" Boulder, Colorado. In Vail he worked with the US Ski Team & other world class athletes that train in the rockies, at the Vail Athletic Club.
In 1998 Michael moved home to the East Coast, where he worked for award winning spas, including Candela, before founding Moore Massage in Boston's Back Bay. Through his varied experience, he has learned the importance of a complete approach to holistic healing; conferring with other bodywork practitioners, integrating diverse yet complimentary services such as: Chiropractic care, Physical Therapy, Nutritional assistance, Personal Training, Pilates or Yoga into a personalized treatment plan honoring unique needs and thereby witnessing profound changes in his clients.
Today, Moore Massage offers you massage therapy treatments in our new 1500 sq. ft. massage clinic at 105 Newbury St., 4th Floor, Boston, Massachusetts.
Moore Massage's team also provides On-Site Chair Massage for Corporate, Trade-Show, and Special Events.
