I just put the Evo in cause I really liked it. I had the pickup before I got my JS (I had the Evo in my PRS), and when I decided I wanted to mess with the pickups, the obvious choice was to put the Evo in. I like the Evo cause it's got a nice powerful sound to it. It's a little more to my liking than is the Fred. However, I do have the Fred in the neck position now...
