The one reason why Japan gets games earlier than the U.S. or of any other country, is mainly because the Nintendo company is located in Japan, they make the games in Japan, of course they would get the games more earlier.

It does take a lot of work, just working on one episode of anime, or just a kid's cartoon can take up a couple of months or a year. I am currently working to be an animator, but for now I am an artist in college :)
