Steve always admired Page. I listened to him play "Black Mountain Side" on acoustic when he was 15.
He has always been a humble and down-to-earth guy, despite his immense talents.

Actually, Plant was hired after being recommended by Terry Reid, who turned down the job thinking he was about to go big on his own. What an improvement that would've been.
