Monkey Town is a video theater located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC, presenting a diverse mix of contemporary video art, short films, feature-length films and documentaries, and live performances incorporating video as a interactive element or backdrop.
Original programs and projects, curated by Montgomery Knott and Sam Zimmerman, include the Monkey Town Semiennial series (celebrating very new masterpieces of video art) and Porn Week (exploring art influenced by porn and porn influenced by art).
