@Reazzurro90 Though the Novus Ordo CAN be said in the vernacular, yes, this is what the Novus Ordo is supposed to look like. The rites and rituals in this Mass should be in every Novus Ordo.

Now THIS is the Mass of Paul VI. This is what Vatican II intended. Not those train wreck Masses we see in most parishes today.

@KiraKirin I agree, but I also believe that we as humans ought to offer our best to our Heavenly Father. I know that what He wants is our worship, but by offering him our finest, is it not, in a way, an act of worship itself?

I think it's absolutely beautiful that every person who approached the Holy Father to receive the precious body of Christ knelt and received upon their tongue. It is my dream to receive our Lord's body from the hands of the Holy Father.

@foodie65 Oh, that's very interesting to hear actually. I'm Catholic and we seemed to have lost the tradition of singing the Angelus as well as the Salve Regina which used to be sung at every High Mass. It's rather sad. At least the Anglicans are keeping the sacred traditions of the Church alive.

Notice how much more reverent this Mass was verses the Latin Rite Mass that the same person posted. It's time that the Latin Rite Church return to their reverent traditions. Though different, we ought to match the reverence of the Eastern Divine Liturgies in our Western Masses.

One would think that in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the very location of the resurrection of Christ, the holiest spot on the Earth, people would dress a little more reverently and women would cover their heads.
