MONEY RULES is a Melbourne (Australia) based company owned by financial planning expert Nobby Kleinman. Nobby began his financial planning career in 1987 moments before the share market collapse in October of that year.
Without the fortune of winning a lottery, Nobby believes financial success will only happen through personal endeavor and has applied this process through many years of trial and error.
In 1987 Nobby joined the financial planning industry and quickly asserted a niche position in the field of corporate superannuation. Becoming an expert in this area, he was regularly consulted by companies and peers in the establishment of employer superannuation funds.
The corporate base provided the opportunity to expand a financial planning service to the employees of those companies. This trust only came about as a result of the care he showed in advising, sharing and mentoring of individuals
Although his practice was very successful, Nobby became frustrated with the overwhelming burden of compliance issues presented by the government, the perceived lack of support within the industry, and the increased financial costs of providing advice.
He felt those people who needed the advice most, now found it was unaffordable. The work and the industry were no longer enjoyable, so Nobby retired from financial planning, and sold his practice to pursue personal goals.
After 20 years as a qualified financial planner, Nobby can tell you from his own experience that few people will retire with any where near sufficient income.
