About Mommie Mayhem

I'm a 27 yr old , Mom of three boys. Ages 3 , 5, and 6. I just found out I'm pregnant with baby number 4. I have had two miscarriages and My oldest was born 8 week early. He suffered a stroke at birth and now has mild cp , and suffers from seizures.. I will be making weekly updates and sharing my mayhem through a high risk pregnancy , raising three kids , one who has special needs. Take a seat and enjoy the show.

Are you married?

Yes, I have been with my husband since I was 13. We married when I was 18.

How many children do you have?
We have three boys. Walter age 6 , Jayden age 5 , Devin age 3.

What is your pregnancy history?

1st pregnancy in 2000 - miscarriage

2nd pregnancy in 2001 - My oldest son Walter was born 8 weeks early and suffered a stroke at birth. He now has Monoplegic cerebral palsy . He also has a seizure disorder that started Nov 2008.

My 3rd pregnancy was my son Jayden. 2002, At 20 weeks we learned that my uterus/cervix was having what the doctor called silent contractions and cervical funneling. Basically my uterus was having contractions that I could not feel , and my cervix was opening from the inside out. Once it got to a certain point it would start to open from the outside in .hence premature labor. I was induced at 36.5 weeks with low water levels. Jay was born a happy healthy little boy.

What did they do for your silent contractions and cervical funneling ?
Modified bed rest and a medication called poricardia.

My 4th pregnancy was in 2004 miscarriage .

My 5th pregnancy was in 2005 . I went all the way to my 20th week with my son Devin and like with Jays pregnancy the silent contractions and cervical funneling started again. I was placed on the same meds and modified bed rest. Devin was born at 39.5 weeks.

This will be my 6th pregnancy but my fourth and final child.

I will be making weekly updates and sharing my mayhem through a high risk pregnancy , raising three kids , one who has special needs.
