Actually Frollo is only 35 year old in the book (Daniel is ten year older here ! ) and isn't described as an ugly "old" man...not even once...He's tall, austere, cold but his eyes are like fire...With such description I can't imagine him as a repulsive old turd but rather as a tormen...
