Second Annual Bayfront Maritime Center Cardboard Boat Regatta August 20, 2011!

Over a thousand spectators cheering, 33 cardboard boats competing!

Erie, Pennsylvania finally has great ice on Presque Isle Bay. About 25 boats were running today. More are being set up tomorrow.

Great ice, 18 knot breeze, sunny and cold. We haven't had conditions like this in years.

This cardinal pounds on our windows every day.
