Hello jazz fan! My name is Jonathan, I'm a journalism student at the University of Lincoln. What you see here is the product of many hours labour - this is my passion and hobby. I buy records from eBay and other sources to restore them for you all. The way I see it is, if I can introduce this music to people how it should sound then it will continue to flourish, and survive this generation to the next. I am often sent kind messages by people - so thank you, it's heartening to know that so many appreciate my work and part time hobby.

I now have a decent deck, equaliser and de noising programmes so expect many more top notch transfers in the future!

Great channel! I just reverted to the original YT format myself. Much more user friendly and looks better as well. What was YT thinking? Were they also involved in "improving" Coca-Cola some years back?

Just listened to 'Departure of a Troopship, got this one on ,Zonophone, seems same band of performers recorded this for more than one company. Could you consider reverting to original 'Youtube' Format? Its much more accessible, user friendly & I have done so with my channel. Like your picture of early studio with twin recording horns.

I am very impressed by your channel - great music, and nice to see young people getting interested in jazz. That's what is needed when us 'oldies' are no longer here. I include my sellf in this category! Thanks
