Great technology. The performance of the cobalt ss is nothing special though. The good ole ohv 3800 will give you the same economy with a hell of a lot more torque. I think we have yet to see the real potential of direct injection.

The gto does not and should not look anything similar to old school. The only thing American about it is the drivetrain. The Monaro is truly an awesome car, all comparisons aside.

No doubt the STI is a better performing car but the Monaro is bigger, more comfortable,better looking, and all around more fun. Subarus are a dime a dozen these days. How many Holdens do you see in the U.S.? That alone sells me on the Monaro.

ahh true chevy trucks, when suburbans could be called trucks. i love my 87, just wish it were a 3/4 ton sometimes. Great vehicle none the less. Parts are cheap, they're built rock solid, and chevy has yet to make a truck as good looking as 73 - 87s.

Love your burbs man... My 87's the same color, best color around. Sadly its a 350 gas and is a lil ripe from Wisconsin winters. Would love to find one as clean as your 6.2. Nothin beats an old Chevrolet!
