How To Program the PRO-106 Digital Trunking Scanner

This is a deluxe video on how to quickly program the Pro-106 Digital Trunking Scanner. I have other videos up on this but decided to make a better ...

    mohelidude mohelidude commented:

Most Radio Shack stores are more than happy to program these scanners for free. All they do is take their display model PRO-106 that's already programmed and use it to "clone" PRO-106 scanners that customers bring in needing programmed. It involves hooking both scanners up via a simple data cable...

Lehigh Acres?... No thanks. I'll stay put in my city with the same population numbers as Lehigh with 135 full time officers on the police force. Worrying about my home constantly while being away would drive me crazy. There's no way I could live with those fears.

    Major Target Shopping Cart Accident

Most OTR drivers keep two sets of keys for this very reason. If a receiver actually thinks an OTR driver is handing them their only set of keys... they're pretty stupid.

    Kid Millions (1934)

This is the spectacular 3 strip TC finale of Kid Millions starring Ethel Merman and Eddie Cantor from 1934.

    mohelidude mohelidude commented:

@RichMansSon92 Keep in mind this was 1934. Americans knew nothing about Africa other than what was printed in geography books. At a time when unemployment was approaching 30%... kids getting ice cream was like receiving a very special birthday present.

    Telephone Auction

80s video parody of old 'Telephone Auction' tv show.

I'll never forget lying on the bean bags in the basement right in front of the TV every Saturday morning at 10am watching the Telephone Auction on the cable public access channel. They always featured a Sanyo MBC-550 computer system for around $1000 that I drooled over every week... but that was ...

What an awesome haul! That Osborne is worth a fortune to the right collector. I bought one about 20 years ago and gave it to Goodwill when I moved a few years later. I found a pair of Bose Computer Music Monitors selling for $125 in a pawn shop and couldn't justify even paying that price after seeing and hearing them. Ended up buying a Logitech S220 2.1 setup for $24 NIB that I believe sounds every bit just as good.

I found a Dell desktop computer in the trash

My dad found a Dell Dimension 4400 in the trash. The power supply was broken and it cost us $35 to fix it. It is running Windows XP Service Pack 3.

I have a Dimension 4400 that I bought new in January 2002 and still have... though hasn't been fired up in several years. Same exact specs as this one. Think I paid $1000 for it new. Picked up one of these for 10 bucks at a ham radio swap last weekend. Works perfect. Made a contact with it on the first try. Receiver seems fairly sensitive. I'm surprised it performs well since they only cost about 100 bucks new 20 years ago.
