1.30.12 Still mastering Arduino micro controller timing. Getting closer to having a handle on it. Can run motor on pulse durations ranging from 2% to over 50% with varying pulse delay- resulting in varying speed, input and output power. Working on code to self optimize pulse delay for a given rpm. Will produce a video when Arduino code is in order. To do: Code skip pulse function; Code multiple pulse function; Code load control function; Improve bearing mount; HV experiment; Add bearing heat sink; Add H-Bridge; Add second coil; Add magnetic bearing; Add Arduino display and menu keys; Move circuitry from proto board to pcb. Plenty to do...

Way to go Jimbo!!!! A little fine tuning solves most problems. ;)

Hey I still can't seem to post reply on your uploads....it's not offering the POST enable....anyhow.....here's a thought...

Hey my friend, I would like to donate two rather strong 4" diameter magnets for you to use. (Klipsch woofers w/blown audio coils you know but the mags should work for something. HA!)

Or to figure out how to tap into the repelling force field when these magnets try to engage back to back. It is not possible. If buy cutting the magnetic lines of flux with something should induce a voltage across a collector type coil.
Must position/secure firmly the magnets in a close proximity. blah blah blahhhhhh
Or you could figure out how to levitate the motor thereby reducing all friction. But then you would lose the energy from the motor whir.

Anything to help! Keep going

So...been takin' scratch notes....you increased the RPMs 7 fold by going from 6Vdc-12Vdc, temp went up 8 C, almost doubled 24,000RPMs by going up another 6Vdc, temp went up proportionally.Audio effects from friction DOes increase with RPMs. Contamination...DIRT, more lube, uh more precision motor....etc may eliviate that....Not exact notes but least I'm paying attention.....Try giving the temp in F if you can. I think you were at 36 C and that's about over 90 F........gotta go Watch the HEAT!!! (keep at it, harness that noise and don't burn out any bearings!!! Check your lubes!!!!! Grease it! Wear your eyewear and maybe a helmet. HA!
