Hi my Name is Marian Mertes-Zänker.
I'm a Drummer from Germany.
I just thought my Name is quite a very long one, so I decided to call my Channel: MmzDrums.
As you can easily imagine M m & z are the initials of my Name.
Hopefully you can get what I want to say.
English is my second Language.

The first time I played the guitar I was seven years old.
I had lessons at a local musicschool and enjoyed playing this harmonic instrument for six years.

After this long period I discovered the drumset for beeing my favourite instrument.
So after having guitar-lessons for quite a long time, I wanted to play the drums.
And I thaught myself alone for about two years.
Than I started to take lessons by different teachers to get as much information as possible.
I play the drums now for six years.

Due to the fact, that I had lessons on guitar before and I still love playing this instrument, there will be guitar-videos on this Channel as well, althought it is called mmzDRUMS.
