Jogging along nicely until we get to Leigh on Sea, that Essex twang not only makes these guys sound completely thick but it appears over-emphasised (something which I know is done in those parts for effect anyway) but spoils the acting.

Despite more 'beautiful' versions this one has the feel of the era and spirit of the song.
