Anoopa Ji - I am so very thankful to you for the basic tips especially for the roti.I have been trying to make the perfect roti for four years and tried every possible tip I ever came across on and offline but without any progress until I saw your video and magically everything worked and now every roti of mine puffs up and so does my heart with pride and joy.The best tip for me was to roll the roti from the edges. You are truly great teacher you cover every small detail and with such passion.
Dear Sanjay - Your recipes , personality and presentation make it a delight to watch your videos - You are a born Teacher. - By the way I always thought we should avoid using Plastic vessels with Hot Liquids but you are the Guru you know best.
Stunning Stunning work Sir..When you were doing the eyes and the throat part of the portrait an alarm went up in my head " hey..you cant tattoo on the throat you might pierce the girl " So life like..Brilliant work very well presented video.
This is cheating..You are whispering something to the Roti or are you black mailing it ?
You look like Kajol for a brief mischievous moment in the close up towards the end when you were showing that Roti who Boss is.
- I bet - when they grow up - Dhruv and Akash will become such expert cooks themselves that you and both your Bahus can simply put your feet up and order whatever you want from the Kitchen. Your videos are so friendly and simple that even a teenager - boy or girl - can learn from them.Of course they will have to show some discipline , patience and follow the general safety precautions in the Kitchen.-
I am sure all Your hard work today will be richly rewarded in future.
These look so much like the Thick big Oily Rotis we used to have with Chana masala Garvy in Hostel.
They were a little bigger in size and they must have been baked in lots of Oil though not deep fried.
I searched here and there for this Roti but I finally found it where else but in your channel..the Most complete Gujarati Food Recipe encyclopedia on Internet ( of course you also cover so many other recipes too )and your presentation is - so friendly - So homely and so pretty.
Dear Chef - I think you are the Most Famous Hyderabadi in the whole world - I am from Hyderabad too and feel inspired by your attitude to Life and cooking.Your videos are so professional and yet personal and funny and entertaining.
Thank you Bhavana - This Daal was ever present on our Dining Table in my Hostel and we kids used to have multiple servings of this daal just to fish for the boiled 'Sing' in it.
I always used to wonder - If it is indeed Daal , then where is the daal in it ! - Mystery Solved - you strain out the Daal after boiling and mashing out all the goodness from it into Daal Water.
Hi Bhavana....Thanks for pointing me to your Gujarati Daal and Daal Dhokli Recipes which indeed are already there on you channel.
As a Kid I always wondered what the diamond shapes were made of.They absorb the daal and completely become yellow and it's impossible for a kid to tell that they are made from good old atta. Now thanks to you one more child hood food mystery is solved for me.
Dhruv is a " STAR " - Akash is ' Sky ' - I mean Shy - but Bhavana is my favorite.
She is such a nice Cook - isn't she ?
How come none of you Guys are Plump ? - though I must say Bhavana seems to have put on a little weight compared to her older videos.
Thanks for the Veggie Sub Sandwich Recipe Guys - bet the SUBWAY is going to lose some Customers.
Bhavana - Just as my Rotis begin to Puff up the rack grill rods puncture the bubbles in my roti letting the steam out and leaves slightly charred grill marks on the Roti - However as you said despite that my Rotis turned out very thin and soft.Thank you and If I may post a compliment -
You have a very nice " RACK " ( pun intended )
