@kerryincolumbus You called her dame, quite appropriate, she should be knighted for her excellence. Few have had careers as sterling as Dame Bumbry, Becky Shultz may have sung well but she certainly didn't have a career like the Dame.

@henrifrombarcelona I do speak French, however i disagreed with your calling her voice masculine. Her french is adequate but as a dramatic soprano she is interpreting song and not speaking prose, anyway, I greatly enjoy hearing this, often and repeatedly.
