Disgusting. He even pushed Parker before the kick.Should have been sent off. He'd only just come on as sub after his 8 math ban.

Great group. Originally called Sophisticated Boom Boom. Added vocalist Moira Rankin to the line up and became His Latest Flame. Earlier singles "Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt" and "Stop The Tide" were released on "Go! Discs" in 1986. "America Blue", "Londonderry Road" and "Love's In The Neighbourhood...

@jainehenderson The girls did a very different version live than the recorded version on go. Would love to see more of their songs, like "Footsteps" and "Stop The Tide". Sure I still have a couple of photos and clippings SOMEWHERE :-)

HLF were a 5-piece girl group (Moira, Tricia, Irene, Laura and Jackie) with a guest male keyboard player. This was the first of 2 singles on "Go! Disc" (same label as The Housemartins). The other was "Stop The Tide" later in 1986.

@enrico0094 "Stop The Tide", their second single on "Go! Discs"... Loved HLF, Moira's voice is amazing... And I fancied Laura (on bass) :-) Worked with HLF in Shrewsbury a couple of times and did some mega-local promotion for the second gig we put on. Another fave track was "Footsteps"

Love this songs from Charlie's new cd "Ghosts And Heroes"
Didn't know this track, but Michael Zager was on the news talking about Whitney earlier. He mentioned she had recorded vocals on this track. I met Whitney in March 1985 in London and raved about her for ages before she made it big in the UK.
