Until someone shoots this with 1k fps camera and shows it properly i call this BS. Many videos on YT are shot with cameras that can't even do 25fps. YOU CAN'T slow down normal video to that point it will show you real time slower. You need more fps or you will have time gaps.

Google LM3916 datasheed. Inside you have basic schematics for couple of VU meters. This chip was specifically designed for this purpose. You can start from there and then work your way on improving it. For example you can limit the input signal to low frequencies if you want the VU meter to react...

So in a 3 minute video you talk about the pump and its internal components for about 2:44 minutes and devote only a couple of seconds to actual desoldering. Let a side we can't see a thing since the video is low res and you didn't even bother to zoom in.
