My Videos:
I have some popular current events and short comedy videos, but mostly I like to make amateur music videos and audio slideshows. Most of them are made from taking great songs and adding pics and videos I find on the web. I also like to promote lesser known artists and / or obscure tracks.
After five years of making Youtube videos, I have learned that it is easier to churn out a hit video than it is to turn your own artistic vision into a hit.
I am still trying to complete my videos for the Pooh Sticks, Million Seller album. It is my humble tribute to that great, albeit unrecognised album. Several of them are posted under TheRamonian; my other channel.
I also have some videos that are no longer on Youtube for Wolf Parade, Neil Young, David Bowie, among others. They are posted on Vimeo. Just search MJmcnult there.
I am into science, nature, animals (especially birds and cats), and the origin and nature of language. I have an appreciation for the absurd and I am a music buff. I have little tolerance for claims and beliefs that are not backed up by scientific or testable evidence. I reject things based on superstition, such as ghosts, an immortal soul, the paranormal, UFOs, God , and 9/11 conspiracy theories.
