See Johnny at Rueben's Ballroom in Decatur, TX on January 21, 2011 and at Southern Nights in Abilene, TX on January 22, 2011. Johnny is an awesome entertainer. His band is great.

I was there at this party. Really a good time. Music was awesome.

Uncle Tom, do you ever go to Johnny's shows? maybe I've been to the same shows?

Wish he would still write songs. One time we were driving down the interstate and he explained to me how to write a song. I had aske which came first, the words or music.

Love it when he sings in both Spanish and English. He jokingly refers to it as "Spanglish".

Johnny sings this at shows. I have been to a lot of concerts and have never seen the reaction from the audience like there is at Johnny's shows. People will crowd as close as they can to the stage to see him. I remember one of the first shows I went to at Floore's country Store in Helotes, TX...

He still sings this one at shows. Gosh, what a voice! Still as strong as ever. Can't compare Johnny Rodriguez songs with the country music of today.

If I am correct, I think Johnny wrote this song. I told him this was a wonderful song and he is always so private about his works and he said, "it is, isn't it?"

He will be appearing at the Stagecoach in Fort Worth, TX on Nov. 20th. Will be seeing him then.

This is one of my all time Rodriguez favorites I listen to it over and over. I wish he did it at shows. For those of you who wonder what he is doing now - he is still entertaining and thrilling crowds. He performed 10/29/10 at Centurytel Center in Bossier City, LA & got a standing ovation.

Would have been better if HIS band was playing; but good anyway.
