My two most favourite musicians/singers are two great living legends of music. One is Amr Diab, the king of middle-eastern music. The other is music maestro AR.Rahman aka Mozart of Asia. On this channel you will find music of these two legends with english subtitles. So enjoy!!

Amr Abdel Basset Abdul Azeez Diab is an Egyptian singer, born on October 11, 1960 in Port Said, Egypt. Amr Diab was born into an artistic family. His father encouraged him to sing and dance at the mawaled (street festivals) in this early age. In due course, Diab began his musical studies at the music faculty of the Cairo Academy of Art and from which he graduated in 1986. His first album Ya Tareeq followed shortly and was an instant success. There have been, since then, 16 top selling albums in a prolific recording career which has established him as the super-star of Egypt and the Arab world.

Amr Diab is a three time winner of the World Music Award.

In 1997, Amr Diab won three Awards at the Annual Arabic Festival (for Best Video, Best Song and Artist of the Year). In the following year, he received a Triple Platinum Award for the sales of Nour El Ain, and received a World Music Award in Monaco on 6 May 1998. poraries.

Diab received his second World Music Award in Monaco in 2001 for best selling album for middle-eastern singer, the album contains a good number of significant songs like Adeeni Rege, Ya Habeeby La, Sadda'ni Khalas and Ba'edd Ellayali.

On October 30, 2007, the management of the World Music Awards announced that Amr Diab was to receive an award for best selling artist in the Middle East for the album El Leila De Amr Diab received the award in the festival that was held in Monaco, Monte-Carlo, on the 4th of November 2007, with a total of three WMA's in his career.



In October 2009 Amr Diab was nominated for MTV African Music Awards for several categories. AMR DIAB won 3 awards in African Music Awards (Europe) in 3 different categories: 1-Best Artist of the Year. 2-Best Song of the Year. 3-Best Male Vocalist .

A living legend whose music is copied and translated in more than 7 different languages.
Though he sings in Arabic, he has a big international fan base and his music inspired many artist in Latin America, Israel, Japan, Russia, India, Pakistan, Albania, Brazil, Spain, Bulgaria and the list goes on.
